Swimming Lessons

These cute boys were so excited for swimming lessons this week!
Cameron was brave and went off the diving board!
I think Little Brother has created some healthy competition for Big Brother, because Parker actually went off the diving board, too!  This is pretty big for him - there have been times he's stayed behind in the shallow end while his class goes off the diving board.  Even today most of his class went off the high dive, but I'm okay with having a cautious kid!
Parker even went off the diving board a second time!  Both of them were so proud of themselves.

Summer Slow Down

We are three weeks into summer vacation already, and have hardly anything to show for it.  That has been kind of nice, actually, to not have a packed calendar.  I was teasing Kenzie yesterday at the park that Cameron used to hang out with me because he was too little to play, and now she hangs out with me on the bench because she's too big to play!
These two aren't yet too big for the park, though!
They've also been having fun just enjoying their time off.  Here they were getting ready to play in the sprinkler.
Kenzers was gone for a week at Girls Camp.  When she came home, the second thing she said to me (after "hi") was, "Can we get McDonald's?"
Cameron put the Happy Meal box on his head and told me, "My nickname should be Captain McDonald's."  Such a goofball.
Kenzers took some pictures at Girls Camp, and they were all nature shots.  I thought this one was pretty.
Parker and Cameron started building with marshmallows and toothpicks.  This seemed like a good way to keep them entertained...
...it got a little crazy!  The whole counter was covered, and the table (this picture was the middle point).  Parker said, "I think I've found my passion!"  That made me laugh.  Eventually I couldn't even use my kitchen counter so I had to throw his "passion" away (and he didn't even notice at that point), but it kept both boys busy for several hours over multiple days!
My birthday was super boring this year.  We worked on the bathroom the entire day, trying to get that fixed up a bit.  Parker did make me this sweet sign while I was at the grocery store, however.
My favorite part about it was Cameron got a pointer stick and read me the sign!
Kenzie has been baking chocolate chip cookies each week.  She is very proud of how nicely they are turning out, too.  Parker and Cameron are always excited to see fresh cookies coming out of the oven.
And finally, Daddy teaching Parker how to throw knives.  Kenzie joins in, too, but she had gone inside when I took this picture.  Kind of random, I suppose, but there is the update on all we've been up to lately!

Devotional with Kenzers

Sunday was the first time Kenzers attended an event at the Conference Center.  We went to the youth fireside where President and Sister Nelson spoke.  Even though I was just there as the taxi driver, I enjoyed it, too!  I thought this picture turned out cute as we walked through Temple Square on our way to the Conference Center.  She's definitely not my little kid anymore!
