Jog-a-Thon

Today was the annual fundraiser at the elementary school.  I always have to make sure I walk over and wave during it, so here are a few pictures.  Cameron said his rib hurt (he had sprinted a bit too quickly at the beginning, as the kids always do) so he walked for a while.  I had agreed to pay him per lap, though, so I teased him he could walk as slowly as he wanted to!
Picking up the pace a bit!
All done!  He quite dramatically flopped over on the field, but the promise of a snow cone brought him around!  Funny kiddo.
Only one last Jog-a-Thon to go next year!

Homecoming

Saturday was a busy day for Kenzers - she headed out early for a Marching Band competition and returned just in time to quickly shower and change for the Homecoming dance.
Her friend Matthew came to pick her up, and we tried not to embarrass them too much!  Only took a few pictures before sending them off on their way.  (I came back in the house, and Parker and Chris were giggling about something - they had been looking through the blinds making faces the entire time!  I had not noticed, so I hadn't gotten the window in the pictures, much to their disappointment!)
They went to the park to take pictures as a group, and then had dinner at one of their houses before heading to the dance.  Friday had been a day off of school, so they'd all gone to Classic Fun Center and roller bladed, ran around playing tag, and went down the slides in all the bouncy houses together.  It had been quite a busy weekend!
Too cute!  (And hooray for Amazon - that dress was only $30 and Kenzie liked it, which was quite the relief!  Dress shopping is no joke)
Glad they had a fun time!
