To Disney World!

Last Saturday morning we were up early and on our way to the airport.  It was a bit crazy of a morning (the garage door opener broke just as we were leaving so we had a hard time getting the garage door to stay closed, and then once we arrived we missed a turn and took a very roundabout tour of the wrong parking garage) but we made it to the gate with a little time to spare.  Brand new airport, but hardly any places to sit, so at least we weren't waiting long!  Our flight was thankfully on time.
This was the longest flight we've taken together, at about 4 1/2 hours.  The kids were great watching shows and eating the whole way.  (The flight attendant chuckled at how many snack wrappers were coming her way when she came by for trash!)
I thought the train in the Orlando airport was fun with all the lights.  That combined with all the Disney pictures made it seem more like a ride and less like just trying to get to baggage claim.
We dropped our bags off at our hotel and immediately headed to Star Wars land for the last few hours of the evening!  We were all a bit tired from the plane ride, but it was fun to walk around and see everything all lit up.
Checking out the Millennium Falcon.
My camera had a hard time focusing in the dark, but it was super cute to watch Chris and Parker pilot the ship.  Cameron and Kenzie were gunners, and Cameron took it so seriously.  It's designed to be rather simple, so the buttons would light up when it was time to push them.  Cameron hovered over the buttons and went to town anytime they lit up!
Back at the hotel, we had pizza delivered and settled in.  An exciting first day!
